Amy Wight, Everdene's Owner, surrounded by giant danelion sculptures.

My Story

My name is Amy Wight. I'm Mum to one year old Nancy and, with my partner John, we live and work on a dairy farm in The Peak District,  so life can seem quite hectic!

For the last 8 years I have been making my Dandelion Sculptures as part of the family business Fantasywire Ltd

I started making the dandelions along side my Dad (Robin Wight) and over the years  it has grown and been quite the journey. We have exhibited in some amazing places, working with the RHS at Chatsworth, Tatton and Wisley, even dressing Jardin Blanc at Chelsea Flower Show.

In recent years Everdene's was created, quite organically, as  I made smaller pieces which were originally created from the off-cuts of the larger sculptures. I love making the little pieces. They are so tactile and all so individual due to the patina and patterns I have learned to create on them.

The great outdoors, wilds and all things natural are my great loves in life so,  naturally, this is where my work has taken me.

You will often find a selection of vintage items in my shop. These have come from pure self indulgance and love of nostalgia and history that I have incorporated into my work. This leads me to finding new mediums including the glass and etching. I am inspired to find items that can be given new life so we can all enjoy them every day.

In The Workshop

I make the Everdene's creations in the workshop with my small team who help me with all aspects of Everdene's - from our giant dandelion sculptures to the small copper leaves to packaging your orders up. So, it will be one of us who will answer your enquiries across any of the Everdenes product range.
